Affordable Art Fair Singapore 2026 runs from 26 to 29 November at the F1 Pit Building, and the ticket price rises as the date gets closer. You can attend purely to look, but the visit goes better if you know whether you are browsing or buying, and what the fair's ticket tiers mean for your budget.
The 19th edition features more than 95 local and international galleries and thousands of contemporary artworks, all priced below S$15,000. The organiser states that 75% of artworks are priced below S$7,500, inclusive of 9% GST. It describes the fair as the longest-running international contemporary art fair in Singapore.
Dates and opening hours
| Day | Session | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday 26 November | Private View | 2pm to 10pm |
| Friday 27 November | Public | 12pm to 10pm |
| Saturday 28 November | Public | 10am to 7pm |
| Sunday 29 November | Public | 10am to 7pm |
The venue is at Republic Boulevard, F1 Pit Building. Friday is the only public day that runs late, so it is the natural choice for an after-work visit.
Ticket prices
The ticket price depends on when you buy. The figures below come from the Arts Republic listing, which reproduces the organiser's pricing, and the fair's own site is the place to confirm them.
| Ticket window | General adult | Concession (full-time students or aged 60+) |
|---|---|---|
| Early bird (9 to 29 September) | S$19 | S$14 |
| Advance (30 September to 22 November) | S$24 | S$19 |
| Fair week (23 to 29 November) | S$28 | S$23 |
| Private View (limited, online only) | S$60 | Not listed |
Today falls in the advance window, so the general adult price is S$24 until 22 November. Buying before fair week saves S$4 per adult ticket. The listing says ticket prices include GST but exclude a booking fee, which is added at checkout. Concession tickets require proof of eligibility on entry. Private View tickets are sold online only and are not available at the door.
The ticket is described as a 3-day pass. If you want to re-enter the fair, the organiser says to ask a team member on site for a re-entry ticket link. Children under 16 can enter free with an Under 16s ticket and an accompanying adult who holds an invitation or ticket.
The fair also appears on the SG Culture Pass site, where the starting price is shown as S$28, the fair-week rate. Eligible Singapore Citizens should check at checkout whether credits can be applied.
Getting there
Promenade MRT is the nearest station. The fair's instructions say to leave via Exit A and head towards the Singapore Flyer until you see the pink banners to the left of it. The organiser says free parking is available at the venue on a first-come, first-served basis, and that there is also a multi-storey car park at the Singapore Flyer. The venue is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility, with lifts to every floor, accessible washrooms and parking lots.
Two practical points from the fair's FAQ: there is no cloakroom or storage, and only service animals are allowed. If you plan to buy a work and carry it, plan how you will get it home.
What you can see
The fair describes paintings, sculptures and photography from galleries around the world, plus hands-on workshops and large-scale installations. The Arts Republic listing says every piece is clearly priced, with works available from S$100 to S$15,000. The organiser's own page states the S$15,000 ceiling, so use that as the reliable figure and treat the S$100 floor as the listing's description.
For a first visit, the price transparency is the useful part. You can ask any gallery about a work and compare prices across stands without needing to negotiate blind.
Browsing or buying
If you are browsing
Allow a few hours and walk the whole floor once before you stop. The Saturday and Sunday sessions close at 7pm, so do not arrive in the last hour if you want to see everything. If you are going with children, the under-16 free entry applies, but you still need an Under 16s ticket and an accompanying adult.
If you are buying
Prices on display are the starting point, so ask before you commit:
- What is the total price, including any frame?
- How will the work be delivered or collected, and who pays?
- What is the gallery's return or exchange policy?
- Can you get documentation about the artist and the work?
- Are instalments possible? The organiser has a page about buying art in instalments, so ask the gallery or the fair how that works.
Compare similar works across galleries before you decide. A 75% share of works below S$7,500 means most of the fair sits well under the headline ceiling, so set your own budget before you go and stick to it.
Which ticket should you buy
- You can plan ahead: Buy an advance ticket before 22 November. At S$24 for a general adult ticket, it is cheaper than the fair-week price.
- You are a student or aged 60 and above: The concession is S$19 in the advance window. Bring proof.
- You want the opening evening: The Private View is S$60 and limited. Check the organiser's page for what it includes.
- You are an eligible Singapore Citizen: Check whether SG Culture Pass credits apply at checkout.
