The Pokémon GO event pages list the in-game event dates as 7 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 at Changi Airport and 7 November 2026 to 31 January 2027 at Jewel. Another source says the campaign starts from 3 November. The dates differ slightly between sources, so use Changi Airport's official pages for the final dates, particularly for decorations that go up before the main event weekend.

Is it free

Admission to the PokéXciting! parade, stage shows, Meet and Greet and the Pokémon Experience Zone is free, according to Changi Guide. The Pokémon GO Hub says the event is free and open to everyone, and that the gameplay area is limited to Changi Airport and Jewel. For the Changi Festive Village, SassyMama also lists free entry. Some Jewel attractions are separate: the Canopy Park charges entry fees, while the Forest Valley snow shows are listed as free.

What happens on 7 and 8 November

PokéXciting! is described as part of the Pokémon 30th anniversary celebrations. Changi Guide reports that the event includes a parade with 27 starter Pokémon, stage shows at Terminal 3 featuring a blue PokéXciting! Pikachu, Meet and Greet sessions with costumed Pokémon characters at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall across the weekend, and a Pokémon Experience Zone. The precise show times were not available in the sources we checked, so check Changi Airport's official announcement before you plan your timing.

If you plan to attend, expect a crowd. There is no published attendance data, so treat that as an expectation, but free events with meet-and-greets tend to draw queues, so arrive early if there is a specific session you want.

The Changi Festive Village

The festive village is at Terminal 3, and SassyMama describes a Pokémon Experience Zone with Christmas-themed Pokémon decorations, video games on the Nintendo Switch 2 and free trading card game trial-play sessions. Meet and greets are also planned. Christmas-themed Pokémon decorations stay up until the end of 2026, followed by Lunar New Year-themed decorations in early 2027.

The Light and Snow shows are in front of the Departure Immigration area on Level 2 of Terminal 3, and their times were listed as to be announced. SassyMama expects the nightly snowfall sessions to return at Changi Airport and at Jewel's Forest Valley and Canopy Park, along with the Light and Music Showcase. Treat these as expected and not confirmed until Changi publishes times.

What is at Jewel

Jewel has enlarged displays of individual trading cards, each featuring one of the 27 First Partner Pokémon from all nine generations. There is also a Pokémon Trading Card Game Quiz Rally, where you collect a prize after completing the quizzes based on the displayed cards. The prize details and any conditions were not confirmed in the sources we checked.

The Jewel campaign runs until 31 January 2027, so you do not have to go on the opening weekend. The Forest Valley snow shows are listed as free, while Canopy Park charges entry fees.

Pokémon GO players

The Pokémon GO team lists Changi Airport and Jewel among the locations in the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Mall Exploration. The gameplay area is limited to Changi Airport and Jewel, and the in-game event runs from 7 November 2026. Check the in-game announcement for the specific features and bonuses, which are not covered here because the sources we checked did not list them in detail.

Getting there

Terminal 3 and Jewel are both in the Changi Airport complex at 78 Airport Boulevard, Singapore 819666. Check a journey planner for your route and allow extra time on the event weekend.

Which date should you choose

Useful Resident Tools

The opening weekend, 7 to 8 November

Choose this if you want the parade, stage shows and Meet and Greet. These are scheduled for the weekend only, and the crowd is likely to be the largest.

Later in November and December

The decorations and the experience zone continue after the opening weekend, according to the campaign dates. If you mainly want to see the installations and avoid the biggest crowd, a weekday visit is a reasonable choice. This is a judgment, not verified, since no crowd data is available.

January and February 2027

The Lunar New Year decorations replace the Christmas ones in early 2027, and the campaign ends on 31 January at Jewel and 28 February at Changi Airport. If you want the Christmas decorations specifically, go before the end of 2026.

What to confirm

  • Show times for the stage shows, Meet and Greet and snow shows.
  • Whether Meet and Greet sessions need a queue number or registration.
  • Whether the Pokémon Experience Zone has capacity limits.
  • The final dates for the campaign at Changi and Jewel.
  • Whether any prize redemption has conditions.
